As a vanilla supplier from Indonesia, how do we work ?

We carefully selected our farmers, as well as two curing houses.
Our requirements are based on professional work, trust and quality vanilla beans.

When we are in touch with a prospect, we send them our brochure and discuss through Whatsapp, email or phone call. It is possible to send samples beans before the first shipment. The propect will handle the shipping fees.

Once the order is placed and the payment is received, we prepare the beans on Java island.
The packs are sent to Jakarta and then we drop it to DHL office.

The vanilla beans are delivered directly to the prospect office.

Indonesian Planifolia beans, a variety of vanilla, are predominantly grown in the tropical regions of Indonesia, a country renowned for its rich biodiversity and suitable climatic conditions for vanilla cultivation. Cultivation Process:

  • Climate and soil requirements: Vanilla Planifolia thrives in warm, humid, and tropical climates, with temperatures ranging between 21°C to 32°C (70°F to 90°F). They require well-drained, rich, and loamy soil, often found in the volcanic regions of Indonesia, which provides essential nutrients for growth.
  • Planting and Growth: Vanilla Planifolia is a type of orchid and grows as a vine. The cultivation starts with planting these vines near tree trunks or other supports, allowing them to climb.
    The growth process is slow, and it usually takes about 2-3 years for the vines to mature and produce flowers.
  • Pollination: unlike in Madagascar, where pollination is typically done by hand, in some regions of Indonesia, natural pollination occurs with the help of local insects and small birds. However, manual pollination is also practiced to ensure a higher yield.
    The pollination process is delicate and requires precise timing; the flowers must be pollinated within a few hours of blooming to produce fruit.
